South island

The South Island of New Zealand is an outdoors paradise. Whether you want to surf, hike, climb, or sky-dive, there are options everywhere.  Despite being larger than the North Island, only a quarter of New Zealanders live here. Outside of the major cities and tourist hotspots, expect to find relaxation and plenty of nature.
